The PacketGuard appliance protects private data from unauthorized access by users inside or outside your network.
Access to network machines is available only from those machines or users specifically granted access permission.
Instead of allowing all traffic from all users, except for traffic which is detected as bad or inappropriate,
PacketGuard proactively allows only the access which has been assigned. PacketGuard’s response to unauthorized
access is automatic and immediate termination of these network level requests and immediately notifies you of
the unauthorized access attempts.
With PacketGuard, you can divide your network into logical groups of IPs, called enclaves, or zones. When
all your zones are defined, assign access permissions for each zone.
